Last week Jamie and myself were given the opportunity to film a piece for ITV highlighting how to spot a fake v real shirt and give viewers insight into how the mystery box business works.

This was a fun experience and a great opportunity to get in front of the camera and talk about Football & Mystery Jersey King - the perfect combo.

Fake Football shirts

Although purchasing counterfeit goods is not illegal, the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau advises against it, stating that "you're helping the trader to break the law."

This City of London Police-affiliated organization encourages people to report any instances of fraud.

Counterfeit goods are often linked to organized crime, with sales proceeds funding other criminal operations both in the UK and abroad, amounting to over £900 million annually, according to the Premier League. Additionally, it warns that fake goods "may pose a risk to the health and safety of fans."
